The right in-home care can make all the difference when it comes to managing day-to-day activities. We have professionally trained caregivers so families can rest assured knowing their loved ones are remaining where they are comfortable and maintaining the highest quality of life possible.
Fall prevention in the home refers to measures taken to reduce the risk of falls among seniors and other individuals with limited mobility. These measures can include things like installing grab bars in the bathroom, removing tripping hazards from the home, and providing adequate lighting throughout the living space.
We will help your loved one prepare for surgery, and help close communication loops with the family, agencies, and doctors. We will also visit our client at the hospital and provide companionship. Once home we monitor compliance with doctors’ and other healthcare practitioners’ instructions and medications.
Our professional caregivers can provide assistance with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Personal care at home can be a helpful option for individuals who are aging, have disabilities, or are recovering from an illness or surgery.
A companion for the elderly typically provides social and emotional support, as well as some basic assistance with daily tasks, including conversation and activities, providing companionship and emotional support, and helping with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation.
Aviva In-Home Care maintains a record of daily activities with our clients, and caregivers are trained to monitor any changes in behavior, mood, eating habits, and health status. We carefully capture this information, and will provide timely updates to family members when requested.
